The Municipal Services Division operates from our Orlando office and provides administrative, operational and financial management expertise to help local governments and communities in their efforts to privatize the operations and construction aspects of infrastructure and service growth.
Since 1999, GSG has been responsible for the complete oversight of all administrative, operational and financial aspects of $300 million in water and wastewater utility assets. This includes procurement of all professional consultant services, development of Request for Proposals & Qualifications (RFP/RFQ) documents, monitoring of all systems to ensure compliance with EPA & DEP standards and contract negotiation services.
GSG's Municipal Services Division performs contract management functions for a variety of government entities, including monitoring capital project construction performance, operations and maintenance, customer service and billing functions. The Florida Governmental Utility Authority is a good example.
Numerous long-range infrastructure enhancements, utility service extensions and system expansions are just a few of the services our Municipal Services Division scope, fund and build within our construction and inspection services.
Municipal Services GSG is responsible for the delivery of a number of services for our governmental clients. Services we provide include operational areas (i.e. contract inspection services); compliance with statutory, regulatory and permitting requirements of governmental agencies; developing and issuing requests for procurement and bidding; and completing the entire procurement process.

We manage the fee collection and associated improvements for local CDDs as part of our Municipal Services Division. The fee development and planning, bidding and oversight of all infrastructure improvements are a portion of the expertise we bring to CDD management. In addition, GSG's Communication Services and Technical Services divisions work closely with CDDs to develop online question/answer and community information tools that relate directly to the CDD activities. The result is a comprehensive management angle that includes planning, communication and feedback from the community-up.
